I offer private piano, guitar, and ukulele lessons for students ages 10 and up.
A lifelong musician, I started teaching professionally in 2001. As a teacher, my goal is to nurture as well as instruct. I balance constructive critiques with praise for students’ effort and progress, and always strive to make lessons enjoyable. I believe that the discipline and skills learned from studying music can help students immeasurably in other areas of life. And of course, learning music ideally provides enjoyment and comfort for the student!
In addition to teaching, I’m a performer, songwriter, and playwright.
