Guest Blog Post by Chris Lee, owner of McMinnville Auto Detail

Hello, my name is Chris Lee and I’m owner of McMinnville Auto Detail. We are a full service detail shop, offering Interior & Exterior details, Ceramic coatings, Window tinting and more.

We are IDA certified (International Detailing Association), have trained with Renny Doyle (Master Detailer and developer of the P&S Double Black collection), and we stay current with continuous education courses. My staff and I are committed to continually improving our skills and training so we can provide the most up to date and safest procedures to get (and keep!) your vehicle looking its best, and adding protection to your assets. If you’ve purchased a new vehicle lately, you know how much they’ve increased in cost, so we understand how important it is to treat and protect your vehicle with the best products & techniques available.

Also, I’ve recently had the privilege to be one of the members of an elite team chosen to detail Air Force One in the Summer of 2021. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I even got the chance to polish a WWII B29 Bomber. It was hard work and many long days, but a very memorable experience.

Our storefront offers a wide range of professional detailing products for the Do-It- Yourselfers. We carry everything from high end microfiber towels, to professional grade wash mitts, to leather conditioner and tire dressing and everything in between. We can help you find the right products to meet your needs.

I started detailing in the late 90’s and recently expanded into our brand new shop behind Sandwich Express in the spring of 2019. I’ve worked hard to build and develop customer relationships over the years. My goal is to continually provide quality service, and as such we only work on a small number of cars per day. If you’d like to see what we can for your vehicle, we offer free consultations, and can even show you a test spot on your paint to see what can be achieved, no appointment needed.
